Questioning correctness of formulas
[edit]I found some substantially different formulas at the manufacturer's website (http://www.gardco.com/pages/viscosity/vi/s90.cfm). For instance for the #2 cup, the forumla in the current page is v = 3.5(t-14), while the manufacturer's formula is v = 4.18t-760/t. The only time the formulas give the same value is for t near 13.1 which is outside the valid measurement range. If there is validity to the existing formulas, both sets of formulas should be given with references and an explanation for their differences. 216.246.252.179 (talk) 18:19, 18 March 2012 (UTC)
I agree and I submitted an edit explaining the formulae given were only for Brookfield cups with references. I cited references for the Gardco cups. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.57.226.130 (talk) 22:48, 7 December 2016 (UTC)
